When You Decide to Cancel

Went on hiatus, and these are how I canceled.  There are new boxes to review coming my way and some that are still going to be reviewed. Here are the boxes that we say goodbye and good luck to.

New Beauty TestTube
Reason for canceling:  My first tube was awesome.  After that, they consistently went downhill.  There was only one item discovered through this subscription that I actually bought after trying it in my tube.

Ease of Canceling:  All I had to do was go to their website and click cancel.  No leaving survey, just click and done.  Thanks for making it simple.

Quarterly
Reason for canceling:  I only got this subscription once.  That was enough.  I had high hopes that I would really enjoy what came, but needless to say, not worth the price.

Ease of Canceling:  Click cancel next to my subscription in the account details.  There was the pop-up window that pleaded.  ARE YOU REALLY SURE?  I clicked that I was, and the subscription is over.

Sidenote- in my time away from blogging I did try their Food Box.  It's a good deal if you like the curator that month.  If you don't, it's a lot of groceries that will sit in your cupboard waiting and hoping to be used.

Julep
Reason for Canceling:  I paint my nails once a week.  I don't go through near enough nail polish to keep getting some in the mail each month.  I think if you changed your color each day, you might be able to use up all the polish you get through Julep.

Ease of Canceling:  There is a 1-800 number to call.  The person on the end of the line was easy to work with and it was a few minutes on the phone, and Julep was off my subscription list.

Fancy
They no longer offer subscription boxes, so it is was a pretty easy decision on my end of things.  Plus, I didn't have to do a gosh darn thing.

Loot Crate
Reason for Canceling:  I had so many little do-dads that are just collecting dust, I decided enough was enough.  Also, with getting a shirt each month I had more than enough in my closet.

Ease of Canceling:  When you cancel Loot Crate you have to search for how to do so in the FAQs.  Once there you follow a series of links asking to cancel your subscription.  This was fairly easy, and within minutes they had responded saying that my subscription had been canceled.  I was impressed with this considering I canceled on a Saturday night.  When you cancel they continue you send you crates through the duration of the six-month subscription plan.  So, be careful to cancel before you are auto-renewed again.
